Model 103 Forming and Stuffing Machine
The detachable stuffing horn delivers efficient forming and stuffing of a wide variety of products; boned and rolled hams, ham ovals, capicola, beef tenders, etc., into fibrous casings. Because the forming chamber does not close to a fixed diameter, the operator can control the amount of pressure to meet individual requirements. All essential parts are constructed of stainless steel for ease of cleaning. Simple operation and rugged construction offer long, trouble-free service. The 6" (150 mm) diameter x 8" (200 mm) stroke closing cylinder and 2-1/2" (60 mm) diameter x 35" (890 mm) stuffing cylinder require approximately 90 psi (6 bar) air pressure.
Special Stuffing Horn for Model 103
Different sizes and shapes of stuffing horns enable the Model 103 Ham Stuffer to load various products in smaller sized casing or special molds. Sizes and shapes available for applications such as "bone in" picnic hams.
Canadian Bacon and Butt Attachment for Model 103
This unit forms and stuffs Canadian Bacon and Butts. It easily locks onto the forming chamber on the Model 103 and allows use of casing sizes #3 through #7.
Model 404 Ham Former and Mold Loader
Provides full benefit of all exclusive features on Mepaco Ham Molds, offering a simple, fast and efficient method for producing cooked ham, shoulders, corned beef, etc. for preslicing. A ham mold of appropriate size is positioned and locked on the loading horn. Then a boned and defatted ham is placed in the forming chambers. A valve is actuated and the ham is shaped instantly. Press a lever and the ham is forced into the mold; release a clamp and the mold may be removed from the horn. Complete operation takes less than 30 seconds. Ham former is 6'-10" long x 5'-9" wide and weight (approx.) 850-pounds.
Model 108-A Single Horn Mold Loader
Ham chunks are vacuumized and then stuffed in a fast, efficient "in-line" operation. Processors who use this method report substantial savings and speed with:
- Weight Increases in Finished Hams
- Increase in Slicing Yields
- Less Shrinkage During Cooking
- Less End Piece Waste
- Increased Production
Model 108-A Automatic in-line "Auto Fill" Mold Loaders
This loader's inclined construction makes mold handling easier and reduces the heavy work. It operates pneumatically; just push the button and automatic loading is completed in less than ten (10) seconds. The "Auto Fill" Mold Loader automatically raises the mold into filling position, starts the product flow and shuts off flow when the mold is filled. Then tilt the filled mold into an upright position, attach the cover and it is ready for further processing.
Model 414 Ham Former and Mold Loader
Operates on the same principle as the Model 404 Ham Former, except it forms the ham into a rectangular shape and is used with Mepaco Continental Molds.
Model 108 Dual Loaf Mold Loader
This loader fills a dual mold or two single molds simultaneously at amazing speeds. Hydraulic retarder supplies back pressure to compensate exactly for pressure from the stuffer. This mechanically accurate method allows no margin for error as can occur when an operator merely changes his position while using another type of loader. The result is positive uniformity of density and texture; each loaf weights up to two pounds more than loafs produced in another manner.
Model 120 Pneumatic Ham Mold Unloader
A high-speed production machine, fabricated of stainless steel with two casters provided for portability. Stainless steel utility table is optional. Installation consists of connection to plant air supply as unloader operates on 80 to 100 psi (550 - 700 kPa) air pressures.
Model 121 Dual Loaf Mold Unloader
For high speed unloading, the Model 121 Dual Loaf Mold Unloader operates on 100 psi (700 kPa) air pressure. The portable unloader is constructed of stainless steel and measures 5-1/4" (1455 mm) long x 16" (460 mm) wide x 43" (1090 mm) high.
Model 114 Mold Cover Press
This unit pneumatically applies spring tension covers to Mepaco Pre-Slicing Ham Molds. Fabricated of stainless steel, it is also supplied with two casters for portability. The 5'-6" (1689 mm) high machine requires 18" x 18" (460 x 460 mm) of floor space. This unit operates on 110 psi (800 kPa) air pressure. Adapters are available for molds of various sizes.
Model 118 Single Loaf Mold Filling Device
To be placed on top of the conventional stuffing table and attached to a pneumatic stuffer.
Model 112 Pneumatic Mold Cover Press
Quickly and efficiently secures spring tension covers on "two piece" molds.
Model 407 Single Mold Cooking Rack
Uniform spacing of the molds result in proper circulation in the cooking cabinet and coolers which result in reduced cooking and chilling time. This rack is fabricated of stainless steel and a 4" (102 mm) double trolley is included.
Model 406 Dual Mold Cooking Rack
This rack is designed to travel by overhead rail from the stuffer through the entire processing cycle which eliminates 2/3 of the handling time and labor. It saves space because the rack is designed to take advantage of vertical height so the number of molds processed per sq ft of floor space is doubled. Complete circulation yields uniformity in cooking and chilling. The rack is fabricated of stainless steel and a 4" (102 mm) double trolley is included.
