Our feedscrews are designed with an extra-large centering pin, which better supports our heavy duty, 300-pound feedscrews. These powerful feedscrews use a spring that not only allows the grinder to cut cleaner, but also reduces pin-hold wear, to increase the life of your grinder and reduce maintenance. The AISI 1045 steel flighting is heat treated in a manner that hardens the cutting edge while leaving the base material undisturbed. This method produces a long transformation area where the steel toughness and yield strength is not compromised. Our Mepaco Grinders are USDA approved and are available in many different configurations to meet your specific needs. Regardless the temperature, our wide range of grinding solutions can handle meat, dough’s, cheeses, vegetables, offal and much more. Available options include our BCA-2 bone collection system, double or triple plate assembly and transition funnels. |
